Cycling in Norddeutschland. Py on a vacation trip home. Riding "old" roads in northern Germany.

Hannover Radsport Club: Steinhudermeer RTF (Rundfahrt):



RTF Hannover (race like mass start ride, some what ~200..400 riders, 120km). Flying with the front group most the time until km 70.... where I happened to be a little too far back at a bad time on narrow bumpy farm roads (you would call it a path....) with several slow 90 turns. Opening several gaps several riders up I just could not close up even I got very close but with good head/cross wind just not enough left.

Early Birds only -- flying South

Returning of the birds. Some fast gaming, just caught little unexpectedly at a bad time right after a to that point structured taking pulls on Dune. No in race mode that moment -- else Py would have merged right into the pack instead of going all the way to the back to find getting gapped ahead -- too late. But some good work at least picked all others falling off up towards the bridge. Regrouping.

Long island City to Bear Mountain

LIC2BM #1 2015.

Spring edition or pre ride GFNY (kind of) of the Long island City to Bear Mountain ride.

Py with the LiCranx Lou, guest Tom, Doug, Gene, Markus, Elliot, Mark and our fearless leader Brian. Fun day out there, little foggy all morning, but just a fine day to ride.

Early Birds South with Kaaaarl once in a while

It's a while we had a good fast group! Se here we go and just right after a good day riding up from New Platz.
Py got a message on way a little last minute as he heard but had to post pone checking on it until at the start as running short on time. But already a intuition it my be Karl... and it was. So he a little delayed by a flat catching up with us en route South.

Good ride, need more of those, want more of those!! Come on, bring them on again -- EBs. That was great and a little hard here and then as it should be!
