Return to Seewis, return of bike -- a total wash - -let's take the cog rail way

Quick roll to Andermatt train station.



Scenic train journey into the clouds and wit ha whole lot of rain. Figuring the quickest way to the bike shop to return the bike, still getting a little wet.

Furka Sunday. Then just a joy and photo climb.

Feeling a bit the aftermath of a tough cold and soaking wet day. Taking it easy.
Let's try and roll out a little later with sun and as bit more warmth. Feeling a bit light headed and not 100%. However approaching the first switchbacks and climbing steady warming up feeling better turn by turn and making it a photo climb enjoying the last sunny day or morning and reaching the top.
And finally having a chance to really enjoy the decent with sun and view!

Wet into the clouds. 3 big passes: Susten Grimsel Furka. With a few sunny spots on the other side...

Saturday, planned to meet up with Beni in Innertkirchen.

Started out half hours delayed sitting out heavy rain in Andermatt watching the radar. Rain stopped, but wet wet wet. Rolling out and down to Wassen. Into the clouds... And climbing Susten this time from Wassen. Drizzel, fog, clouds, zero view. Approaching the last few hundred meters (of climbing) to go hanging on a random rider in a Scott jersey picking up pace a bit. On top, on the other side of the tunnel greeted with even worse conditions, more heavier rain... Descending 1600m in near pooing rain, getting cold and totally soaked.
Innertkirchen: Meetup with Beni. Cappuccino x2, hot soups... still kinda cold and soaked. But the rain subsided and radar looked clear. So we rolled as planned and hoping for the best. Few very welcome sunny spots climbing Grimsel were so nice and warming. Few views. Intermediate descent and before climbing on to Furka passing the iconic abandoned Hotel Belvedere on Furka.
Then descending into Andermatt with well absolutely zero view totally fogged out barely seeing tail lights of cars ahead.
Dinner with Ben before good by from a short meetup in a while. Always great to see and ride with him.

To Andermatt -- with back pack for few nights stay

Relocating base for three nights. Riding from Seewis to Andermatt via Oberalbpass. Finally a warm and beautiful day!

Return from Walenstadt. Heavy rain moving in. Skipping that planned mountain pass...

A plan, a attempt to ride around the Walensee and over the pass on it's high side... ending up in a wet misery and aborted return from Walenstadt.  Total wash.

Valkhaus, nothing flat here

Recovery hill ride... quick spin up to Valkhaus.

Big Monday. Testing system. Haven't done and havent's had a chance to do over 4k in as long long time. Good call, fun times, perfect day.
