Trevors No1

1st Sunday 1st of November this is the start of Trevors ride for the colder season to come. Very convenient also today is the end of DST and thus 8:30am still feels like 9:30 -- still a little wet roads in the morning from that storm of last night, was starting out a bit early today and had some time before the start, not too bad. Checking out the time to start at moderate warmup pace, still about the same old easy 35 minutes to the tracks crossing and a few more to Bagels and a whole lot more on 112 :-) So far just one of the 15 min early to be chased group was arriving a few more soon. No one of the faster group yet, but T got there soon, also K and one more strong looking rider in black and white (sorry, Py dose not remember his name) -- so far looked like a good steady ride of 4.

The early group left at 8:15...

and the 4 followed about 14 minutes later on the same route. Just on North Country, C chased up on them and now there were 5. Good moving over the rolling road along the North Shore -- C got a bit ahead without even noticing and Py chased up to him -- towards Rocky Point, where M joined in and they were 6.

The rider in B&W had some trouble with his right Keo cleat -- stopped to figure it out -- the plastic part on the shoe it was cracked... but he was able to proceed and do the ride with caution.

Moving all the way out East and virtually flying at up to 33mph on Osborne making their way to Mill Rd.

to North St.

... and here a few rollers and a nice view of the Golf Course/Spring Lake on E. Bartlett.

The finish back to the Bagels and a whole lot more place via Mt. Sinai Coram asked for some work due to a good head wind...

Trevors Route (this includes Py's to&from start ride).

Py took the black Tarmac today, well no flat while riding, but discovered a slow one loosing air from the rear tire while washing/cleaning :-( Looks like time for a new set of tires, Argrrr.
