ToC Stage 3 -- little rain and Airport Rd

Stage 3. Again good breakfast, packing up, driving to Windham Mountain for Stage 3 start. Plenty of time. Few snap shots, here a womens field at the start.



This stage rolled out all the way easy for the first 30 miles, slight climb and fast downhill of Hwy23 before hitting a few more rolling terrain. While going into the first climb leading towards the KOM1 things got active and also rain set in. Kind of nice and refreshing. The field strings out towards the KOM again it was a little too much to match and a second groups formed, also a few riders known form last year happened to be in there again. Then just riding on a good pace, taking Airport Rd, no big deal. No mechanicals or flats -- good. Finishing up and keeping more stragglers away from tagging on.

All over -- GC 30 -- out of 100 started and obviously a very competitive field.
